DOA-Dead on arrival - Our policy

(Excluding winter) We guarantee if any shrimps arrive at your address and are dead on arrival we will

refund you the difference only via Royal Mail special delivery. Please contact us via email within 1 hour of receiving your order. Refunds will not include postage costs. Within the 1 hour of this guarantee you must provide proof (evidence) of the shrimp that arrived dead in an unopened

breather bag in our water, photo & video proof will be required by the customer (clear

photo & video) or the claim cannot be processed.

Ordering Policy

1. By placing an order you agree to our terms and conditions.

2. You are a resident in the UK

​​

3. All items purchased on the website will be dispatched once payment has been

received. This may take 1-3 days for payment to clear. (We are balancing school and shrimp)

5. You will take delivery signed for by Royal Mail within the time frame set (special delivery by 1 pm) 

​​​

6. Once the live stock have passed the set time frame we do not take responsibility for

deaths of shrimp.

7. When the shrimp are introduced to their new tank we do not take responsibility for

deaths of shrimp. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the correct water parameters. (0 Ammonia, 0 Nitrites, 18-26ºc tank temp, PH of 7-8, etc)

8. We do not accept returns of live unwanted shrimp. Cancellation before an order is shipped will be processed, if notice is given before a possible time frame.

11. We are not responsible for missed deliveries or if DOA/AOA guarantee is Voided.

11. No postage refunded once the items have been posted (On all shrimp and products)

14. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure correct postal addresses are entered. We will ship to the address confirmed on the invoice under shipping address. No refunds will be issued if wrong address has been given.

15. Shrimp orders through winter will be fulfilled and dispatched via Royal Mail at customers risk, LOA (live on arrival) guarantee will be void (no refunds)

16. Requests of any packages to be left by Royal Mail in a specified place will be fulfilled, however this is at customers risk and we do not accept liability for lost packages.

17. We send out shrimp Monday-Thursday via Tracked 24/Special delivery.

​

18. All shrimp may arrive discoloured â€‹â€‹caused by the stress of shipping, please allow them time to colour back to their original colour over a period of two weeks once in your tank, refunds are not accepted for discoloured shrimps on arrival.​

19. All orders up to £75 can use tracked 24 delivery option, £75 and above must use special delivery option for insurance purposes. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure correct shipping is selected. We will not be held responsible for any losses if incorrect shipping method is selected, refunds will not be processed if incorrect shipping is used. 

 

20. We only cover DOA using Royal Mail's special delivery option, guaranteed delivery by 1pm next day, we are not responsible for late deliveries including doa shrimps using tracked 24 this is at the customers risk.

21. We require Video and Photographic evidence of any shrimps that arrive dead on arrival (DOA) with the bag unopened and still in our water within 1 hour of delivery. Or replacements & refunds can not be processed.

Pricing of shrimp

Our pricing is based on time and work to maintain/produce our shrimp.

Grading of Shrimp

Our grading is based on our judgement, we have very sharp eyes and always send lower than 'low sakura' grade shrimp to our cull tank.
